YOUR MISSION AT PLANCRAFT

As our Account Executive in the Netherlands, you play a key role in building plancraft’s presence from the ground up. Having just entered the market, we’re looking for someone who enjoys shaping things early on. You will develop relationships with a growing base of Dutch customers, co create a local sales approach, and turn early learnings into scalable success.

You will work closely with a small and highly motivated local team, currently consisting of a Country Lead and two sales colleagues, with a Customer Success Manager and Marketing Manager joining soon. This setup gives you a high level of ownership and real influence from day one. It is a hands on role where you collaborate closely while owning your own customer impact, with a strong focus on building sustainable foundations early on.

You will be based in Amsterdam, working on site from our Weesperstraat office at least three days per week, and collaborating closely with the team in Hamburg.

Your responsibilities:
  • Build and manage the end-to-end sales journey in the Netherlands, from first contact to long-term customer relationships.
  • Connect with Dutch craft businesses through thoughtful outreach and consultative product demos that focus on real needs and workflows.
  • Represent plancraft authentically at online demos, fairs, and partner events, helping to establish trust in a new market.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Lead and Country Lead to shape and continuously improve the Dutch sales approach.
  • Capture customer feedback and market insights to help refine messaging, product positioning and internal playbooks.
  • Balance hands-on sales work with contributing ideas that support sustainable growth as the NL market develops.

YOUR PROFILE

Must-Have Skills
  • Experience in B2B sales or a customer-facing commercial role, with confidence in leading conversations independently.
  • A consultative mindset and genuine interest in understanding customer needs and workflows.
  • Comfort working in Dutch (C1/C2 level) with professional English skills for internal collaboration.
  • Willingness to spend time onboarding with the team in Hamburg to build strong personal connections.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience in SaaS, tech, or subscription-based business models.
  • Familiarity with craft, construction, or trades-related customer groups.
  • Experience using a CRM system (e.g. HubSpot) to stay organized and transparent in sales work.
  • Enjoyment of working in early-stage or evolving environments where not everything is defined yet.
